US airforce staff's flying visit

Four personnel from the US Air Force (USAF) 420th Air Base Group, based at RAF Fairford, visited Marlborough Fire Station on Friday, November 2, as part of a visit to Marlborough organised by the town council. The visitors met the station commander, Keith Flippance, plus two other retained firefighters, Dan Collins and Adie Cripps, and saw first-hand the specialist equipment required to meet the demands of a modern-day fire and rescue service. They also heard about the varying nature of the work undertaken and praised the dedicated team for the commitment it showed to the community.   more...

US airforce staff's flying visit

Four personnel from the US Air Force (USAF) 420th Air Base Group, based at RAF Fairford, visited Marlborough Fire Station on Friday, November 2, as part of a visit to Marlborough organised by the town council. The visitors met the station commander, Keith Flippance, plus two other retained firefighters, Dan Collins and Adie Cripps, and saw first-hand the specialist equipment required to meet the demands of a modern-day fire and rescue service.
