Pub plan studied

From the Swindon Advertiser, first published Saturday 7th Jan 2006.

PLANS to extend the opening hours of a Haydon Wick pub will come before Swindon Council's licensing committee on Wednesday.

The Manor Farm Pub has applied to stay open until midnight from Sundays to Thursdays and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The application has been strongly opposed by residents and the area's three councillors, with Coun David Renard (Con, Haydon Wick) urging residents to write directly to the licensing officer at Swindon Council with their objections.

The licence application hearing will be at 5.30pm in the Function Room, Civic Offices, Euclid Street.
