Good service gains award for electronics repairer

From the Swindon Advertiser, first published Tuesday 10th Jan 2006.

Wiltshire-based company, Service All Electronics, has been commended in Total Excellence and Quality Awards 2005.

This is the second time that the company has won an award, having won third prize in 2000.

The TEQ Awards are administered by Domestic & General, the UK's largest specialist provider of breakdown protection for domestic appliances.

The awards were established in 1998 and are widely credited as driving improved service standards throughout the repair industry.

The TEQ Awards result from the UK's largest independent survey of repair standards on domestic appliances.

Domestic and General surveys customers annually, and criteria include how politely and efficiently the initial call requesting the repair was handled and how punctual, efficient and courteous the repair engineer was while in their home.

The company issued about 350,000 customer satisfaction questionnaires in 2004/5 and had a response rate of 40 per cent.

Service All Electronics, which is based in Westbury and covers Somerset, Wiltshire and some of Dorset, is a long-established business, now celebrating its ninth year of service to its customers.

It repairs a wide range of domestic appliances from microwave ovens to plasma televisions.

Manager Phil Knight, said: "We are thrilled to be receiving another award. We have continued to concentrate on giving the best service to our customers. We try to continually improve our service standards."
