Blunsdon on top in six-goal encounter

CIRENCESTER & DISTRICT YOUTH LEAGUE: Blunsdon and Wroughton fought a close battle in the under 15 league, with Blunsdon just edging it in the end 4-2.

The first half ended 0-0, though Wroughton had the better of the half and should have scored.

However, in the second half Blunsdon went 3-0 ahead, but Wroughton fought back to make it 3-2.

With Wroughton going all out for the equaliser, Blunsdon had a breakaway and scored to make it 4-2.

Scorers for Blunsdon were Callum Cormack, Judah Nicholson, James Hogg & Shane Edgington. Wroughton's scorers were Will Crawford & Callum McKechnie.

It was a close match in the encounter between Stratton Youth and Cricklade Youth. Cricklade scored in the first minute of the game and managed to hold on for the whole of the game no matter what Stratton threw at them.

Results: Blunsdon Colts 4 Wroughton Juniors 2, Stratton Youth 0 Cricklade Youth 1.
