SWINDON police are continuing to investigate an indecent assault on a 16-year-old female in Queen's Park.

The girl and two friends were near the café area of Queen's Park at 7pm on Thursday, September 1, when they were approached by two men. They were followed to the gates of the park, where the incident occurred.

It is then alleged that the male indecently assaulted the young girl, before stealing a mobile phone from one of the girl's friends.

The suspect is a white male, about 5ft10in tall, with an athletic build and short blond hair. He is aged about 21 and has a number of tattoos, including a dragon on the right side of his stomach.

Callers are asked to contact PC James Newbery at Swindon Police, on 01793 528111, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
