Crazy plans

I AGREE with C Carter (SA, Saturday Nov 19) taking away old people's homes is crazy, as is letting the Mechanics Institute go to wrack and ruin, it could have made a good theatre for all the talent around Swindon.

Our lovely Baptist Tabernacle was raised to the ground ­ couldn't that have made a great library?

Then they pulled down our lovely old market and put up the big tent. Well bring on the clowns. We all know where they are.
