Faringdon Town put their league form behind them to win 3-1 in a North Berks Cup first round tie at Ardington & Lockinge. On target for Town were Chris Connell, Robert Owen and Mark Wiseman with an own goal, with Ashley Wheeler netting for Ardington.

A hat-trick from Will Knight and a goal from Roman Placek gave Stanford-in-the-Vale the best of a seven-goal thriller against Hanney United, while Northcroft sealed a 3-1 win at Uffington United, with goals from Steve Crame, Martyn Benson and Darryl Thomas.

In Division One, the only fixture saw Coleshill United underline their title credentials with a 4-1 win at Marcham. Christian Ayres, Stephen Reeves, Martin Bugden and Gary Sutton netted to give Coleshill the points.

In Division Two, Shrivenham A lost their unbeaten record, and their chance to go top, as they lost 3-2 at Kintbury Rangers Reserves. Richard Guy (2) and Darren Weeks were on target for Kintbury.

Division Three action saw Faringdon Town Reserves nudge up to fourth spot with a 3-1 home win over Marcham Reserves, thanks to strikes from Troy Redman, Derren Harrington and James Tyler.

Botley United reinforced their lead in Division Four with a 6-2 win over Stanford Reserves, thanks to goals from Nick Taylor (2), James Goddey (2), Kieran Ellis and David Humphreys.
