MOST people have come up with an idea and thought: "I could make a million from that."
But most of them never do anything about their ideas, and so pass up the opportunity of fame and fortune.
Three events in Wiltshire next month aim to help turn that around and create a wave of budding entrepreneurs.
The seminars, under the banner Let's Start Talking Ideas, has been organised through a partnership of Business Link Berkshire and Wiltshire, the University of Bath in Swindon's Small Business Hub and Wiltshire College.
They will include speakers, presentations, and one-to-one sessions, and are being staged during National Enterprise Week, November 14-19.
Andy Reeve, Business Start Up Manager for BLBW, said the seminars are aimed at anyone who has the germ of a business idea.
"You don't have to be an academic. All are welcome and don't be put off by the fact that the events are at university and college venues," he said.
"We want people, of any age, who have an enterprising idea to come along, so we can help them develop their thoughts and move their idea forward."
Marc Braddock, the assistant director of business skills at the University of Bath in Swindon, said the seminar planned for Swindon had a cooperative twist.
The university and a number of other organisations aim to support local Parks and East Walcot enterprise initiatives such as the Opportunity Shop in Cavendish Square and Swindon Childcarers, who will provide a free on-site crèche.
Mr Braddock said: "I hope the seminar will draw in people who work with enterprising minds teachers for example and that it will raise aspirations, open up opportunities and realise potential for enterprising people.
"One of our speakers will be Toni Robinson, of No Added Sugar, who is committed to helping young people realise their potential."
No Added Sugar is a community arts company in Swindon, which works with people of all ages.
The events are free and on:
