SPEEDING motorists on Wiltshire's roads are being targeted as part of a Europe-wide campaign. In the past three years there have been 15 fatal and 88 serious collisions in north and west Wiltshire where speed was a known factor.

There were also 400 slight injury accidents where speed was involved. Wiltshire Police's central road policing unit have been carrying out speed checks this week as a part of a European Road Policing Network campaign aiming to reduce the number of casualties on the roads.
