Laura Ashley to go

Laura Ashley is to close its store in Homebase at Hathaway Retail Park in Chippenham, even though a major revamp is taking place. It was due to move to a newly built mezzanine floor.

A Homebase spokesman said: "All the concessions are being given the chance to move on to that floor. Laura Ashley decided not to move."

It is believed there was a disagreement over the space on offer on the new floor.
