Vandals target building site

DAMAGE put at nearly £7,000 was done to vehicles on a building site at Tidworth last week.

The vandals got on to the site, in St George's Road, on the night of May 12/13 and smashed the windows of an excavator.

They then smashed its ignition barrel and used it to move a compressor and smash it.

Finally, a dumper truck was moved across the site and turned upside down.

Total damage was put at £6,700 and police in Tidworth want to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the incident or have information about it.
