Human rights plea

A group of political activists who suffered torture at the hands of Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe met South Swindon MP Julia Drown to discuss their plight.

The activists visited the House of Commons to present a petition with more than 15,000 signatories to the Secretary of State for International Development, Clare Short, expressing their concern at growing human rights abuses in Zimbabwe.
