RODBOURNE CHENEY'S new look Co-op store opened yesterday (Thursday).
The store, in Cheney Manor Road, now offers improved customer service thanks to new check-outs and an increased range of fresh foods. This includes more fresh fruit and vegetables and a wider range of wine and beers.
There will also be an extended fresh meat and in-store bakery.
The store, which has been closed for major refurbishment, is owned and run by Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester Co-op.
The Co-op's Local Harvest food range and a range of Fairtrade and organic products are in stock, as well as many non-food items such as televisions and DVDs.
Store manager Craig White said: "We now offer a fully refurbished and improved supermarket service in spacious modern surroundings."
The store will be open from Monday to Wednesday - 8am until 8pm, Thursday and Friday - 8am to 9pm, Saturday - 8am to 8pm and on Sunday - 10am to 4pm.
The former Alldays store in Peatmoor, West Swindon, was being re-opened today at 9am.
It will become a Co-op Swift Store and will also be run by the Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester Co-op.
