DECEMBER 2-6, BATH: THE latest work by one of Britain's most acclaimed playwrights is coming to the Theatre Royal Bath for only five days.
David Hare's The Permanent Way, staged by the National Theatre and the Out of Joint touring company, deals with the decision by John Major's Conservative government to privatise Britain's railways.
Mr Hare is also the author of works such as The Pleasure Principle, Pravda and Plenty.
He intended The Permanent Way as a commentary on the principles behind and effects of the privatisation of public transport.
The play will run in Bath from Tuesday to Saturday, December 2-6.
Ticket prices range from £10 to £25, and the box office can be reached on 01225 448844.
