I WAS intrigued to hear that an ambulance sub-station in North Swindon, sited at the petrol station at Asda, Haydon, with toilets and a kitchen, was built in 2001 for ambulance crews on stand by. But guess what? It has never been used. Perhaps someone can help to solve this mystery and it can be put to good use.   more...
