Passport to the Big Apple proves you can have your cake and eat it too

From the Swindon Advertiser, first published Thursday 16th Oct 2003.

THE FAMILY RUN Marshfield Bakery has had £5,000 worth of orders after attracting the attention of Chelsea Market Baskets, a high class New York importer of speciality English foods.

Owners Paul and Lynne White approached Nigel Crowe, international trade advisor at Business Link Berkshire and Wiltshire, last year, who recommended they sign up for Trade Partners UK's Passport to Export Success Initiative.

Mr Crowe said: "The Passport initiative has provided Marshfield Bakery with an ideal platform from which to branch out into other areas."
