Gold award is second website win

CHAMBER NEWS: CHIPPENHAM public relations company Glennie McIntosh has won an award for its website design.

Judges chose the firm's website design for Gleeson Homes to receive the gold award at the Mercedez Benz international property awards for the best property website in the UK.

As well as the look of the site, one of the main criteria in the decision making was its user friendliness.

This is the second national award that Glennie has won for its website design. A year ago MJ Gleeson Group plc's website was judged to be the best in an independent study by Building magazine which looked at the UK's top 50 contractors.

Senior partner Ian Glennie said: "Almost every estate agent and housebuilder in the country has its own website so we were over the moon to be judged the very best. I think our real skill is being able to put ourselves in the minds of people who use our websites."

Gleeson Group marketing director John McCartney said: "We were delighted to win the first award and for the group to achieve a second one is an outstanding achievement. it just goes to show that the team at Glennie can consistently come up with winning designs."
