Town TIC is on the move

From the Swindon Advertiser, first published Friday 3rd Jan 2003.

THE Tourist Information Centre in Bradford on Avon will be operating from new premises in the new year.

The centre has moved from the town centre to The Greenhouse in Westbury Gardens.

The move comes after the old premises were sold but spokesman Wendy Ladd said it is a blessing in disguise.

She said: "The new premises are in a lovely setting and we have a lot more room.

"We always struggled to find enough room in the old building but now we have the space to properly display the comprehensive range of literature we stock.

"We are having a few alterations done but we will be opening to the public from the beginning of January and will be trying our best to offer the same service to the public as we always have.

"We will be officially opening the new centre around Easter."

Visitors to the new Tourist Information Centre will be able to get a copy of the 2003 colour brochure of accommodation in Bradford on Avon.
